Carol received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from St. Francis Xavier University in 1988. After working with developmentally disabled individuals for a number of years, she studied nursing at Algonquin College and graduated with honours to become a Registered Nurse in 1996. Carol worked in a very intensive environment at a tertiary care hospital for several years, as well as working for an oral surgeon.Carol first became aware of NAET after her son was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. The change in her son was dramatic. Improvements were seen after just a few treatments. He became more verbal and as such, was more able to be reasoned with. Today he is a healthy and happy 8 year old who is among the top of his class academically and has many friends. Autism has become something of a passion for Carol and she delights in seeing other families overcome the difficulties that the autism spectrum disorder brings.
Carol was trained in California by Dr. Devi Nambudripad in 2007. She has also received Advanced Level 2 training in for instance Autism, FMS, Depression, ADD/ADHD, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, and Crohn's Disease.
